Not-from-concentrate juice (NFC)
The NFC juice is stored in stainless steel tanks. This is one of the stages of the overall process known as aseptic storage. This means that the juice can be exported throughout the year without losing its quality or its freshness. This also contributes to ensuring that Citrosuco's products meet food safety requirements.
The juice quality is constantly monitored using sampling, laboratory testing and other specialized methods.
Frozen concentrated orange juice (FCOJ)
The juice flows through cooling equipment at sub-zero temperatures in order to conserve its quality and then it is held in special stainless steel tanks in cold storage chambers. This is also an important food safety requirement.
When it is time to export, the juice is transferred into specialized tanker-trucks and transported to the Santos port terminal.
