One of the company's most important products is called not-from-concentrate (NFC) orange juice. This is a ready-to-drink product and it is produced in the Matão and the Catanduva processing plants.
In this process, immediately after extraction and filtration, the juice is cooled and transferred to the Santos port terminal in special tanker-trucks to ensure that it maintains its freshness and quality during the transfer.
On arrival at the Santos port terminal, the juice passes through a modern pasteurization and cooling process to eliminate microorganisms that could degrade the product. This is followed by a controlled deaeration process to remove any oxygen in the juice. This prevents it from oxidizing over time, thus preserving its freshness and Vitamin C content.
