Foster biodiversity

GOAL 2030

Structured biodiversity conservation projects for 100% of the hectares designated for environmental protection.

We reached 100% of Citrosuco farms integrated into CitroApis during the 2023/2024 harvest, totaling 25 agricultural units.The program promotes productive coexistence between citrus orchards and beekeeping, benefiting:

• Over 30 beekeepers across 40+ cities (MG and SP);
• R$ 110,000 raised through 2023/2024, boosting family income;
• 10% of proceeds allocated to the ASAS Program for people with disabilities.

We recognize biodiversity as essential to the sustainability of our operations and environmental balance, remaining committed to our 2030 goals.

Manage water resources rationally

Increase water use efficiency in industrial operations by 20% (m³/ton).

Rationalize water abstraction in 100% of critical river basins, contributing to increased water availability for stakeholders.

We achieved a water consumption of 1.69 m³/ton in the 2023/2024 season, marking significant progress since 2022/2023 (2.3 m³/ton → 1.85 m³/ton) through continuous process optimization.

Infrastructure and Technology

• First 400,000 m³ mega-reservoir in operation (2023/2024);
• Four mega-reservoirs approved for areas facing water scarcity;
• Efficient drip systems delivering water and nutrients to the roots;
• Recirculation of over 900,000 m³ in industrial operations using treatment and reuse technology.

2030 Strategy
With more than 80% of consumption concentrated in irrigation, our commitments include:

• Greater rationality in agricultural water withdrawal through reservoir operations;
• Increased industrial efficiency through monitoring and technology;

Municipal Development Index (IDM)
In partnership with the Votorantim Institute, we created a tool that consolidates socio-environmental indicators for all Brazilian municipalities, based on four pillars:
• Education;
• Work and Income;
• Health;
• Environment;

The IDM identifies territorial vulnerabilities and guides strategic investments for long-term social transformation, building positive legacies where we operate.
