Fresh and Flavorful: Why NFC Juice is Gaining Popularity

The beverage industry is seeing a significant shift toward products like NFC juice, which are drawing more consumer interest every day.

Consumers are increasingly drawn to products that deliver natural flavor, nutritional value and transparency. NFC juice meets these expectations with minimal processing, preserving the original taste of the fruit.

Its freshness and authenticity make it a preferred choice for those seeking high-quality, trustworthy beverage options.

NFC Juice: growing demand for freshness and quality

NFC juice is gaining momentum thanks to its unmatched freshness and authentic flavor. As consumers look for more natural beverage options, NFC juice stands out by preserving the natural integrity of the fruit.

Free from added concentrates and artificial ingredients, it offers a pure, natural taste that resonates with health-conscious individuals seeking high-quality options.

Traceability adds value and builds trust

NFC juice producers are responding to consumer demand for transparency by implementing advanced traceability techniques. Using methods like HS-SPME-GC-MS, it is possible to identify the unique volatile profiles of oranges, linking the final product to its specific origin and farming method.

This scientific approach enhances product authenticity, reinforces consumer trust, and ensures consistent quality in a competitive and evolving market.
The growth of NFC juice highlights a broader market movement toward beverages that combine freshness, simplicity, and trust. It opens new opportunities for producers who are ready to meet evolving consumer expectations.

Advancing the juice industry with sustainability and innovation

Sustainability and innovation are shaping a new era for the juice industry. In the face of climate-related challenges, producers are adopting advanced agricultural practices to maintain quality and ensure a resilient supply chain.

The commitment to responsible production and the use of technology are strengthening the sector’s ability to meet evolving market expectations.

Building a resilient future

Sustainable farming practices are becoming increasingly essential to maintain crop quality amid growing environmental pressures. At the same time, technological innovation is helping producers optimize crop management and predict market trends more effectively

Transparency and traceability are also becoming top priorities, ensuring that production processes align with global standards

Sustainability as a driving force

🌍 The sector is investing in practices that reduce environmental impact and promote long-term resilience.

💡 Innovations in farming techniques are enhancing the quality and consistency of juice production, even under challenging conditions.

📈 Market predictability, driven by data and technology, is emerging as a key differentiator for producers.

As the industry navigates a complex future, sustainability and innovation remain essential pillars for success. Responsible practices and cutting-edge technologies are addressing today’s challenges and also paving the way for a stronger, more resilient juice market.

Outlook 2025: key updates on the orange crop

The citrus industry is preparing for a new season marked by both expectations and uncertainties. After a period of limited supply, the latest crop estimate brings cautious optimism and reinforces the importance of planning and innovation across the entire chain.

The most recent Fundecitrus report outlines production forecasts and field conditions for the upcoming harvest, helping guide decisions and prepare for the months ahead.

Crop estimate and outlook

According to the orange crop forecast and the tree inventory for the São Paulo and West-Southwest Minas Gerais citrus belt, announced by Fundecitrus, the 25/26 orange crop is projected at 314.60 million boxes of 40.8 kg (90 lbs) each. This figure reflects an increase compared to the previous cycle and signals a potential recovery in output after a particularly tight season.

Even with the expected growth, climate variability and disease pressures like greening remain important concerns. Industry-wide efforts focused on consistent field management and adaptive practices are key to keeping production stable.

Field strategies that support consistency

To navigate ongoing challenges, growers are adopting integrated approaches that promote healthier orchards. Practices such as biological control, soil enrichment, and biodiversity-friendly farming have shown promising results.

These measures contribute to resilience and also to more efficient and sustainable production in the long term.

Supplying global demand

With a strong presence in international markets, the citrus sector continues to work toward maintaining reliable supply for consumers worldwide. Investments in efficiency, quality control, and logistics help ensure continuity and performance throughout the chain.

We are committed to sharing updates that support decision-making and strengthen collaboration across the citrus value chain.

The Growers Behind Every Drop: Sustainability in Orange Juice

Behind every drop of orange juice, there is the dedication of citriculturists who combine tradition, innovation, and care for the land. Their work is essential for the quality and flavor of the juice and also for ensuring that it meets the highest environmental and social standards.

Sustainable orange juice begins in the grove with practices that promote soil health, biodiversity, and traceability. In Brazil, the world’s leading exporter of orange juice, many growers are advancing resilient, productive, and ESG-aligned agricultural practices.

Fresh, Natural, Essential: Celebrate Orange Juice Day!

A daily ritual. A global favorite.

Orange juice has been part of mornings for generations, bringing freshness, energy, and that comforting start to the day. Did you know that May 4th is the National Orange Juice Day in the US, a date that celebrates the value and appeal of this refreshing beverage?

That daily ritual has roots that go far beyond the breakfast table: it starts in the groves, where ideal conditions, care for the land, and a passion for citrus come together.

At Citrosuco, we take pride in growing and delivering NFC juice that goes beyond natural. It’s carefully produced, fully traceable, and certified by global standards. From our groves in Brazil to breakfast tables around the world, our mission is to offer a product that reflects quality, dedication, and the shared love for orange juice.

Every glass of juice reflects a journey shaped by care and commitment

At Citrosuco, we bring together responsible farming, cutting-edge technology and international certifications to deliver a juice that’s fresh, traceable and produced with respect for people and the planet.

From our groves in Brazil to your table, everything we do is guided by quality and sustainability every single day.

Climate Risk Management in Agriculture

Climate change is reshaping agriculture around the world. In Brazil, for example, regenerative practices are helping citrus producers restore ecosystems, adapt to shifting weather patterns and ensure juice quality in the long run.

This approach enhances resilience, protects productivity and reinforces the trust of global consumers through full supply chain traceability.

Traceability as a trust-building tool

Quality starts in the field and extends through the entire supply chain. Traceability is key to ensuring consistent standards and providing transparency for global markets.

At Citrosuco, every step, from orchard to port, is tracked and optimized to deliver safe, sustainable juice.

Citrosuco featured at the IFU Technical Workshop

On April 15, Luciana Lima Liossi, Quality Specialist at Citrosuco, presented her research at the IFU Technical Workshop, one of the leading technical events in the global juice industry. The study explored how high pressure carbon dioxide can reduce TAB and its impact on juice quality, preserving sensory and nutritional standards throughout the value chain.

The presentation drew attention for offering a practical approach grounded in data and real-world experience. It is a contribution that highlights Citrosuco’s relevance in today’s most important industry discussions and our ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation.
